Sometimes one question turns into an afternoon of discovery. A collection of websites can help your child follow that curiosity with a clear place to begin.
Begin with a question
What lives at the bottom of the ocean? How do you make a game? Where do birds go in winter? A question your child already cares about gives browsing a purpose without turning every session into homework.
Before reaching for a device, decide what you might do with what you find. You could draw an animal, try a paper project, or explain a new fact at dinner. The screen becomes one part of the activity.
Find a few places to explore
Milo’s curated collections group websites so you don’t have to assemble every starting list yourself. The Free plan includes a sample collection; Essentials and Plus offer more collection choices as well as custom approved websites.
Review a collection before adding it to a child’s profile. Try the sites, think about your child’s reading level, and decide whether the activities suit what you want them to do. Curated choices are a starting point for your judgment about your own child.
Leave room for the next discovery
You don’t need to add everything at once. A few useful choices can be easier to navigate than a long list. After a browsing session, ask what was interesting, what was frustrating, and what your child wants to try next.
As interests change, review the collections and approved websites on the profile. If you have children with different interests, Plus supports up to five profiles with their own approved websites and controls.
For the practical steps to subscribe to collections or manage a profile’s websites, open the family settings guide. It walks through the controls you’ll use as that browsing space grows.
